Baby Shower - Seattle

Some friends from college offered to throw me a baby shower in Seattle and I was super stoked to meet up with ole' College buddies and also with some of my NW family. However, the original day of the shower was on the "Snowmaggedon" weekend in Seattle, where several people lost power and/or were snowed in for up to a week. We decided to reschedule it for two weeks later and I'm glad we did. It was a gorgeous sunny weekend in Seattle and I'm so glad that we didn't have to deal with the stress of snow on top of traveling.
The shower was on Saturday afternoon and my lovely friend A threw a shower that had a blue and green theme, with a sprinkling of mustaches and neck ties. We had a little snack buffet with different cheese and crackers, vegetables, fruit, chips and dip, and meatballs. Meatballs is the one thing that I have consistently been craving and so we thought it would fun to have them at the shower too. We also had a dessert table with confetti cupcakes, neck tie sugar cookies, and chocolate mustache lollipops. Yum! Had so much fun hanging out with everyone and felt honored to have such great family and friends. By the end of the day I was exhausted and crashed on the couch about 8:30 pm that night.
